Hello!

My name is Patricia Walter, but many know me as "Patty the Potter". I started my ceramic's career back in college in 2010 when I took classes as part of my curriculum to become an Art Therapist. I immediately fell in love with the art form and was an Assistant Studio Technician for all 4 years of undergraduate studies at Marywood University. When I went to Graduate School at The College of New Rochelle to finish out my masters degree, I sadly had to take a break from pottery. But after working in the Art Therapy field for a time, I decided that I needed to get back to what truly made me happy, ceramics. I joined the staff of a small ceramics studio and taught most of the lessons while also running the administration end of the business. After the birth of my son, I decided to strike while the iron was hot and I started my own ceramics business, Crescent Ave Ceramics. Now I can play with mud for a living, WHAT COULD BE BETTER?!
